The Kitchen Table Cooking School Sprouts New Talent With Hiring Of Three New Executives To Team

The Kitchen Table Cooking School announced today the hiring of three new members to its team: Andrew Floyd as General Manager, Christy Scrivner as Event Coordinator, and Chef Kathryn (Katy) Hume as Culinary Instructor. With these additions, The Kitchen Table continues to expand its business and establish itself as one of the top cooking schools in the Denver area.

Floyd brings more than 22 years of culinary expertise to the Kitchen Table, 12 of which he spent training others to become professional chefs. A graduate of the Academie de Cuisine, Floyd has lived all over the world including France where he studied under two of the worlds top restaurateurs, Georges Blanc and Michel Guerard. He has been a chef at such notable restaurants as the Four Seasons Hotel and le Bosquet in Crested Butte. In addition, Floyd was a culinary instructor for the Culinary School of the Rockies where he helped the school achieve accreditation and national recognition. Most recently, he was the Director of Curriculum at Cook Street School of Fine Cooking.
Scrivner, who began her career in the hotel and resort catering industry, has 20 years of experience in coordinating and managing both large and small-scale events. Prior to joining the Kitchen Table Cooking School, Scrivner worked for the well-known catering company, Occasions by Sandy, where she gained invaluable experience in the event industry assisting with some of Denvers largest events. During her tenure as an Event Coordinator, Scrivner has been instrumental in planning and producing such events as the Colorado Mills Grand Opening, the kickoff Gala for Sunset Boulevards run at the Temple Buell Theater and the training sessions for The Denver Posts Cheyenne Frontier Days.
