The WineRackStore has always been an animal friendly business. Customers calling may often hear the sound of barking, chirping and meowing as they place orders for the wine racks and custom cellars. Robin, an 8-week old boxer puppy is just the newest edition to the Wine Rack family.
A solider, unable to take his boxer to his new overseas duty station, gave the puppy to the owner of the WineRackStore to look after while they searched for a more permanent home for him. Robin, as he fondly came to be known, had no intentions of going anywhere.
The puppy quickly bonded with the other two dogs, already a fixture in the office, as well as the employees of the WineRackStore. Theres something therapeutic about having dogs around the office, it keeps the atmosphere at work light, said Director of Communications Heather Hoskins.
The owners pets arent the only ones allowed to roam the office, employees are also encouraged to bring in their pets if they choose, When I first adopted my dog, he was really uneasy about being left at home alone. It was wonderful to be able to bring him into the office where he would just sit on my lap all day, said Administrative Supervisor Sidney Ray.
The WineRackStore offices arent just partial to dogs either, often times the employees arriving to work are welcomed by the owners cat or one of their three cockatoos.

During that time the site has seen its share of updates and enhancements, but now owner Mike Kitson is ready for something entirely new and different.
